Important Notice / Nature of This Program

CrownSure™ is an in-house subscription-based service contract offered by The House of Postiché for qualifying Postiché units. CrownSure is not an insurance policy and is not issued by a third-party insurer. CrownSure provides defined service benefits (discounted repairs and part replacements) subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions in this policy (the “Agreement”).

By enrolling in CrownSure, you (“Client,” “you,” “your”) agree to be bound by this Agreement.

Definitions

  • “Covered Unit”: An eligible wig/cranial prosthetic manufactured and sold by Postiché and enrolled in CrownSure, identified by Order Number/Unit ID.
  • “Active Subscription”: A CrownSure subscription that is current, paid, and not canceled or past due.
  • “Coverage Month”: A rolling 30-day period beginning on your subscription billing date.
  • “Covered Service”: Any repair service or part replacement offered by Postiché for Postiché units (excluding excluded items listed in Section 7).

Eligibility & Enrollment

  1. Postiché-Made Only: CrownSure applies only to units manufactured and sold by The House of Postiché.
  2. Value Cap: Eligible units have a Declared Value up to $8,500 USD (or as shown on your invoice).
  3. Enrollment Timing: Enrollment must occur at purchase or within 30 days of delivery/pick-up unless Postiché approves later enrollment after inspection.
  4. Verification: Postiché may require photos/video or an in-person inspection prior to activation.
  5. Good Standing: Your subscription and any invoices must be paid in full.

Postiché may decline enrollment for units showing pre-existing damage, heavy wear, or unauthorized alterations.

Subscription Price, Term, Billing, and When Benefits Apply

  • Price: CrownSure is $55 USD per month per enrolled Covered Unit unless otherwise stated at checkout.
  • Term: Month-to-month and renews automatically until canceled.
  • Benefits Apply Only While Active: Benefits apply only during months in which your subscription is active and paid.
  • Reactivation Controls: If your subscription lapses and is later reactivated, Postiché may require inspection and/or impose a 7-day waiting period before benefits apply, to prevent abuse (e.g., canceling and rejoining solely to use the discount).

CrownSure Benefit (What You Receive)

While your CrownSure subscription is active, you receive:

50% Off All Postiché Repair Services + Part Replacements

You receive 50% off the retail price of all repair services and part replacements performed by Postiché on your Covered Unit, subject to the limits, exclusions, and program integrity controls in this Agreement.

Important: CrownSure provides a discount on services and parts. It is not a promise of free repairs, free replacement units, or cash reimbursement.

What’s Included (Examples of Covered Services)

CrownSure discount may be applied to Postiché repair services and part replacements including, by way of example:

  • lace repair or reinforcement (where feasible)
  • cap/structure repair (seams, wefts, reinforcement)
  • strap/elastic replacement or hardware repair
  • hairline repairs and targeted ventilation work (if offered as a repair service)
  • part replacements sold/installed by Postiché (lace components, closure/frontal replacements, cap materials, clips/combs, etc., as applicable)

Postiché will determine the appropriate service based on unit condition and feasibility.

Exclusions (What CrownSure Does Not Cover)

Program Limits & Integrity Controls

To keep CrownSure sustainable and fair for members:

  1. Claim/Request Window: You must report service issues you want evaluated under CrownSure within 7 days of discovery when feasible.
  2. Frequency Cap: CrownSure discount applies to a maximum of:4 service events per Coverage Month (rolling 30 days), and24 service events per rolling 12-month period, per Covered Unit.
(A “service event” means one drop-off/shipment/service ticket, even if multiple repairs are completed during that visit.)
  3. Severity Exception: Postiché may require a full inspection and may deny the discount for extreme damage where restoration would effectively require a full rebuild of the unit rather than repair. In such cases, Postiché may offer alternative options, including paid rebuild pricing or replacement pathways.
  4. Shipping: Client is responsible for shipping to Postiché unless otherwise stated. Return shipping is billed at standard rates unless included in a separate plan/tier.
  5. Account Standing: Benefits are unavailable during any period of nonpayment, chargeback dispute, or fraud investigation.

Client Responsibilities (Required to Maintain Benefits)

You agree to:

  • follow Postiché care instructions and proper storage practices;
  • stop wearing/altering the unit once damage is discovered to prevent worsening;
  • provide accurate information and cooperate with inspection requests;
  • avoid unauthorized third-party service, which may void CrownSure benefits for that unit.

Approval, Service Authorization, and Pricing

CrownSure applies only to services performed by Postiché for the Covered Unit while your subscription is active. Postiché determines feasibility and scope of service. The 50% discount applies to the retail price of the approved repair services and part replacements included on your service ticket, excluding any excluded items under Section 7.

Turnaround Times & Material Variation

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary by workload, material availability, and unit condition. Hair and lace are natural materials; exact matches may vary.

Fraud, Abuse, and Misrepresentation

Fraud, misrepresentation, staged damage, excessive abuse of service events, or conduct intended to circumvent program limits may result in denial of benefits and immediate cancellation without refund, in addition to any legal remedies available.

Transferability

CrownSure subscriptions and benefits are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchasing client and the specific Covered Unit enrolled.

Cancellation, Billing Disputes, and Refunds

  • You may cancel anytime through your account portal or by contacting support.
  • Cancellation stops future billing and future benefits.
  • No refunds for partial months unless required by law or explicitly stated in writing.
  • Failed payments suspend benefits until successfully resolved.
  • Chargebacks may result in immediate suspension pending investigation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postiché’s total liability under CrownSure is limited to the amount of subscription fees paid for the preceding three (3) months for the Covered Unit at issue. Postiché is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Dispute Resolution (Binding Arbitration)

You and Postiché agree to attempt good-faith resolution within 30 days before formal action.

Any dispute arising from CrownSure or this Agreement will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) on an individual basis in Orange County, Florida, unless prohibited by law.

You agree to a class action waiver, meaning disputes must be brought individually and not as a class or representative action, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Policy Updates

Postiché may update this policy from time to time. The version posted on the website at the time of enrollment governs unless changes are required by law.

Entire Agreement / Severability

This Agreement, along with your invoice and any written addendums, is the entire agreement regarding CrownSure. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective.
