We may add, change, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services on your own behalf, place an order, or make a payment. If you are applying for or managing patient access on behalf of a minor, you must be that minor's parent or legal guardian and are responsible for the accuracy of everything submitted.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Patient Portal login and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away at support@mypostiche.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
The House of Postiche is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical advice. Nothing on this site, in our materials, or from our staff is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician regarding hair loss, its causes, and your treatment options. Cranial prosthetics and wigs are cosmetic products, not medical devices or treatments.
Medical Hair Bank inventory and subsidized pricing are reserved for individuals experiencing medically related hair loss. We may require documentation to verify eligibility before approving an application or releasing a unit, and we may decline, delay, or revoke access at our discretion if eligibility can't be confirmed or if information provided is inaccurate. Waitlist position and estimated timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Hair donations are voluntary and uncompensated — we do not pay for donated hair. By submitting a donation, you confirm the hair is your own (or that you have the right to donate it) and that the information you provide about its condition, length, and history is accurate. Not all donated hair can be used; donations that don't meet our requirements may be declined or used for purposes other than direct patient units, at our discretion.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices, availability, and program terms are subject to change without notice, though changes won't affect an order you've already placed.
Custom Wig Studio units are made to order based on the specifications you select. Because each unit is built specifically for you, custom orders are generally final once production has started, except where the unit is defective or doesn't match the specifications you ordered. Contact support@mypostiche.com as soon as possible if there's an issue with your order.
Subsidized and donation-based units are subject to program eligibility, waitlist timing, and hair/material availability, and may not be refundable once production has begun.
These are general terms — if a specific order, campaign, or program page states different refund or cancellation terms, those specific terms control for that transaction.
Booking requests for the Traveling Studio (whether for your own event or a same-day wig-building slot) are requests, not confirmed reservations, until we follow up to confirm. For same-day wig-building slots specifically:
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a booking, including if you arrive without the required materials properly prepped.
The House of Postiche is a for-profit company, not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Crown Keeper™ contributions, Fund a Wig gifts, and Corporate Partner sponsorships are not tax-deductible charitable donations. Corporate sponsorships are business marketing arrangements. Donations and recurring contributions are processed by Donorbox under its own terms in addition to these Terms.
Inclusion in the Postiche Verified™ directory or recognition as a Corporate Partner does not create an employment, agency, joint venture, or franchise relationship between Postiche and the salon, stylist, or company involved. We may set and change the criteria for these programs, and may add, decline, or remove a listing at our discretion.
If you submit a review, photo, hair-donation story, or Fund a Wig campaign profile intended for public display, you confirm you have the right to share it and you grant us permission to publish it on this website and our social media, using only the information you specifically consented to share publicly. You can ask us to remove your public content at any time by contacting support@mypostiche.com.
This website — including its design, structure, content, and concept — is the exclusive property of The House of Postiche. The House of Postiche™, Medical Hair Bank™, Crown Keeper™, and Postiche Verified™ are proprietary marks of The House of Postiche. Unauthorized reproduction, duplication, scraping, or imitation of this website, in whole or in part, is prohibited.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome (including fit, styling result, or program timeline) will be achieved.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The House of Postiche will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to us for the order or service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold The House of Postiche harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to that venue.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
